Marjan Boerma, PhD
Radiation Biology Adviser*

Marjan is a radiation biologist with a research expertise in normal tissue radiation injuries. She received her MS in cellular biology and PhD in radiation biology in the Netherlands. She has been on the faculty at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) since 2006 and is currently the director of the UAMS Division of Radiation Health and the COBRE Center for Studies of Host Response to Cancer Therapy. Her research is focused on pre-clinical models to study cardiovascular effects of ionizing radiation and is funded by NIH, DoD and NASA.
David Townsend, PhD
Scientific Adviser*

David is considered a leading authority on hybrid imaging systems. He is a co-inventor of the PET/CT scanner and one of the pioneers of three-dimensional PET and its required reconstruction algorithms. An IEEE Fellow, he served as director of the A*STAR-NUS Clinical Imaging Research Centre in Singapore and Professor of Radiology, National University of Singapore from 2009 to June 2018. David received the Paul C. Aebersold Award for Outstanding Achievement in Basic Nuclear Medicine Science in 2015.
P. David Mozley, MD

P. David, Chief Medical Officer at Radiopharm Theranostics, has a unique industry/academia background. He has served as VP of Imaging at Endocyte, Senior Director of Imaging at Merck, and a Medical Fellow at Eli Lilly. He has also served as a Professor of Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine in Manhattan, Professor and Chief of Nuclear Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mozley has contributed to over 100 peer-reviewed publications on imaging, serves on the Steering Committee for the Quantitative Imaging Biomarker Alliance sponsored by RSNA, and is a former chair of the PhRMA Imaging group.
Ramsey Kilani, MD
Clinical Adviser
Ramsey founded Western Skies Partners and Gliavent Group, with roles at GSIS and ArmaKap highlighting strategic planning and nuclear expertise. He has served as a faculty member in Neuroradiology at Duke University, where he also completed his residency and fellowship training. In his time in academia, he authored numerous manuscripts in the medical literature on the topics of utilization of diagnostics and spinal interventional procedures. He has also published in the fields of translational neuroscience, pharmacology, and gene therapy; and serves as a reviewer for multiple journals, including Medical Care, a leading health policy journal. Ramsey holds degrees from the University of Arizona in Tucson and Northwestern University. He is also a member of numerous professional organizations and societies, and serves on advisory committees within the American College of Radiology, and the American Board of Radiology.
Charles Scarantino, MD PhD

Chuck is a retired radiation oncologist from UNC Healthcare and a seasoned entrepreneur. It was his frustration with existing tools for assessing therapy response that led to Lucerno’s founding. Chuck was granted his medical degree from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University after completing his PhD in cell physiology at St. John’s University.
